Static and Dynamic Stretching
Stretches are either dynamic (involving motion) or static (involving no motion). Often inadequate performance in a horse results from a muscle strain injury due to lack of stretching.
While humans can tell when they are pushing too hard and prone to an injury, a horse cannot tell his rider or trainer that the strain is too much. Many veterinarians and physiotherapists strongly support stretching exercises for horses to help prevent injuries.
Soft Nickers uses a wide range of static and dynamic stretching techniques personalized to your horse’s specific needs to enhance flexibility and range of motion.
